I am in the middle of installing Drupal 7 on a server at my workplace. I ran into a curious problem with Drupal Clean URLs - namely, I couldn't get them working. Here's my breakdown of the problem and how I resolved it.

About the new IMDB redesign: The Internet Movie DataBase (IMDB) has changed their site design and it's for the worse. I write a lot of movie reviews for my sites, so I use IMDB as a reference for things like Director, Movie Connections, Cast List, Date of Release. The old way was to use the nice sidebar on the left and click the link relating to the information I wanted. Simple and easy.
The new way removes the left sidebar completely. Here's their bizarre reasoning, from the FAQ:
If some of you guys are using browsers with the Adblock+ extension, you might freak out one day when Google Adsense won't allow you to log in.

This is because Adblock+ is blocking your login form.

Before shooting off emails to Google support, try the disable function.
If you are using Google Buzz, you are probably using the "Connected Sites" feature in some form or another. Basically, this is a function of Buzz where any new post you make on a "connected site" will automatically be Buzzed.
For example, if I do a post on http://horrorfanzine.com - say, a movie review - it will automatically be Buzzed under my Google Buzz feed.
For those of you who use special .htaccess rules to stop hotlinkers, you may notice that your Buzzes have broken images in them (or perhaps they are all linking to the same image you specified in .htaccess).
